Introduction[edit]

A steep descent with several big drops to add to the fun. https://youtu.be/an2s2UA_Ae0 https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2194689170551511&type=3. This drainage puts you within a 10 minute hike up canyon to the beautiful Supai Falls of West Clear Creek, If running the loop in one day then get an early start so you can hangout at the falls for awhile or even an overnight. There is a spring very close by with a fresh cold water supply before exiting back up to your vehicle. Great location and a fun way to get there to top it off.

Approach[edit]

Take Forest Road's 142H to 13A to 13 to the parking area. Hike a short distance passing Maverick Basin Tank to the first drop

Descent[edit]

Several large drops to start off the descent followed by a hand full of 30 to 60 footers before reaching West Clear Creek. Head up canyon a short distance to Supai Falls, one of the most beautiful sections of the redrock section of WCC. Cliff jumping, swimming and a nice spring awaits you. Incredible place.

R1: =<125ft (tree downcanyon R, rap not more than 125 ft)

R2 and R3 are a 2 stage that could be combined although that would make for a tricky pull.

R2: ~30ft

R3: =<125ft

R4: ~40ft

R5: ~60 ft

Exit[edit]

Exit up behind you and make your way back up to the top by following the track as best you can. This is a pretty steep and slow going exit requiring off trail route finding, doable but a bit rough. One could also drop a shuttle at Bull Pen and exit down WCC to your shuttle car but then you would need to go retrieve the other vehicle. That would be a long exit.
