Introduction[edit]

Widely regarded as the premier outdoor adventure activity in Jordan, an exceptional canyon, the focal point of the eponymous Mujib Biosphere Reserve.

However, the charm is perhaps diminished through the cost of a permit and the amount of other people in the canyon. If you would like to desecnd the falls/chockstone, a local guide is mandatory as part of a group tour, plus, you are not permitted to abseil, the guide will lower you on the rope.

The canyon is adult only, no children permitted. The canyon is closed in winter.
