"Lots of practice with sand traps and a fun day out. Canyon was bone dry. Weather was hot and the exit was thirst inducing. |

4.14.2018: Six rappels and two partner-assists. First three sandtrap. Followed by a partner assist. Bottom three used pot shot anchors for easier pull. Nothing in keeper mode. One pothole escape required a pack toss. Bone dry everywhere. Approach 10 minutes. 3 hours on descent. 40 minutes exit up gulley with 4th class move at top. The "R" rating was not warranted on this day. The 4th class move on the exit can be avoided by veering right at a cairn about 2/3 the way up.
