Introduction[edit]

The first drop is an easy downclimb. The second drop is a spicy downclimb and handline may be helpful; there is a chockstone hidden underneath the big chockstone one can lower 5 feet onto and from there and easy downclimb the final 6 feet. There are two required rappels. The exit up the Crack Canyon is a bonus and really elevates the technical fun.

Approach[edit]

Descent[edit]

Exit[edit]

Standard (Short) Exit[edit]

This exit is much easier than the Full (Crack) Exit. It skips the final rappel, but you don't miss any of the good part of the canyon and you skip out on a low, 5th class moves on the Crack Exit and a lot more sand slogging across the desert.

Full (Crack) Exit[edit]

This exit is much longer and involves low 5th class moves up the "Crack." It does allow you to do the final rappel and see a bit more of the canyon but most groups find this reward isn't worth the cost.
