Introduction
This canyon is located on private land and requires special permission from land owners to access.
Flowing water year round - spring fed.
Approach
Descent
Multiple rappels up to 60ft
Eye of the Needle namesake rappel mid canyon 130ft - "thread needle" with rappel rope, throw pull rope over arch.
A few short rappels up to 40ft before confluence with Oak Creek.
Exit
Privately owned Via Ferrata can be used with special permission or continue down Oak Creek into Lower Kolob.
Red tape
Private property. Privately guided trips can be arranged via Red Desert Adventure and Zion Adventure Company.
