Introduction[edit]
A scenic, non-technical canyon in the Sierra Ancha Mountains described in Todd Martin's book Arizona Technical Canyoneering. Though there are no rappels in the the canyon, some may prefer to have a very short rope handy and/or familiarity with last-man-at-risk body capture techniques to assist with one steep, approximately 10 foot drop. Most of the water obstacles can be avoided with some scrambling, but there is typically plenty of water in the canyon, so be prepared either way.
