Introduction[edit]
A scenic descent from high on Bear Mountain into the depths of Fay Canyon.
Approach[edit]
Via Bear Mountain trail.
Please respect all dwelling sites in this sacred area.
Descent[edit]
R1 53' into slot.
R2 125' off small pine into notch/watercourse.
- After R2 next 15' to 20' drop can be bypassed LDC.
R3 95' off Large juniper on cliffs edge.
R4 85' off pinch in boulders.
R5 110' off pinch in large boulders.
Most rapps are free hanging. All anchors are new as of 9/10/2020.
Exit[edit]
Follow drainage to Fay Canyon TH. If you did not leave a shuttle @ Fay Canyon TH, walk up road 1/4 mile to car @ Bear Mountain TH.
