Introduction[edit]

4-25-15 - we did Monarch Canyon first, and then, after Monarch, we climbed over the ridge to the North and completed the first descent of Ringed Snake Canyon. The map shows both canyons. But I also included another un-tested option of hiking straight up to the top on Ringed Snake from the car parking spot. This way you never bother doing Monarch. But I recommend doing both canyons the way we did.
