Introduction[edit]
A great up-climb in lieu of the approach hike for either Shillelagh fork.
Epic Shillelagh: a much more fun approach than the standard approach to either fork of the Shillelagh canyons. BluuGnome has a great beta for this route, I will elaborate on what I feel could be useful for those climbing up. There are 3 cruxy sections. The first crux I found to be most difficult, to climb or throw a potshot either technique I have seen work. The second crux is easily stemmed via the flake (UCL), a mantle move is needed to top out. The 3rd and final crux is easily made with a potshot toss.
