WaterflowIntroduction
Teixeira is a fun, laid-back canyon with a short 20+ minute approach after an optional car shuttle. Expect lots of creek walking, several good rappels, and beautiful narrow sections with deep, clear pools. There’s a 5-meter jump into a scenic pool, and further along, a local's swimming hole with a 8+ meter jump that can be climbed up and repeated. Be careful of the numerous thorny plants on approach and in the canyon.

Leave a shuttle car at the Parking and drive a short distance up the road to the Start. The trailhead is marked with a sign, and the road is drivable for a short distance until it becomes impassable.

Exit
Exit the creek and walk about half a mile back, 20 minutes, back to the shuttle car. There is a Christian camp at the exit, and the gate may be open or closed. They were hosting an event, even when we visited, and the gate was open.
