Introduction
In the Mar-Apr 2014 edition of Australian Geographic magazine, the canyon is noted in the Sacred Wollemi article.
Some (canyon) discoveries have been made by rangers on fire patrols in helicopters. For example, former ranger Chris Pavich first spied Tweeters canyon - less than 10m across at its base - from a chopper. "I think it's the narrowest, deepest canyon in the whole Blue Mountains" he says.
