Grade: 5 (difficult). Time: 2 or 3 days. 2 ropes needed. It is possible to keep dry. A rough bushwalk in a pristine creek. From Lost Rock at GR 272322 (Yerranderie map) on the Uni Rover Trail, navigate to Wheengee-Whungee Mountain and then down the ridge, reaching the creek above Wheengee-Whungee Falls. Climb around the falls on the right on steep ground, and descend near a gully. The "38r" fall can also be avoided on the right, or can be abseiled in one or two drops. Several other falls involve abseils either on the side, or optionally straight down into pools. There are big trout below Higgins Falls in the winter. From the Spinebender Creek junction, climb out either on the right or left (Wallarah Ridge). Otherwise, walk pleasantly down to the Kowmung (one canyon section below the Christys junction can be climbed around) - then walk back up Bullhead Ridge or the Uni Rover Trail.
