"We found this canyon to be enjoyable with very little water, even after heavy rain the day before. The foliage didnt bother us as most are thornless. |

Introduction[edit]
A quick adventure through broken segments of narrows, moss covered mini- chutes, and bouldery downclimbs, will soon land you in the back of pumphouse wash.
Approach[edit]
Take Newman Park rd exit off of 17N between Sedona and Flagstaff. Park at pin and walk across the road to the start of the drainage. 5 mins
Descent[edit]
3 rappels under 50' + downclimbs.
Exit[edit]
At the wash head right or south a few hundred yards and connect with the climbers trail on the right. This trail is well developed in areas and is relatively easy to follow. A mandatory fixed handline will let you know you're on track. Follow social trail back up the road and your vehicle. The destination and already developed exit made this mini canyon worth sharing.
