Comments: Parked one car at the Cathedral Wash TH and shuttled the other to the coordinates given for parking. Fast and easy approach after parking at the start of the wash, which is large enough for two cars. 160ft rappel is beautiful, great view of the Colorado. Pre-existing webbing was solid. Easy social trail to follow to Cathedral and out.

Comment: Canyon was completely dry. Rigged from the largest natural arch. Scenic area and hiking Cathedral is always enjoyable. Wore helmets on the exit as high winds were throwing sand and small rocks into the canyon. Sunglasses were essentially useless against the sand so looking forward to the eye infection later.

Comment: Just one rappel, but the combination of 2.8 Mile Wash and Cathedral Wash makes for a great half day. The rappel is stunning, the walk along the Colorado is beautiful, and Cathedral Wash is majestic as always. Marble Canyon always delivers.

Comment: This route was short but fun with amazing scenery. The approach was a walk in the park. We quickly found the one and only rap RDC off of two natural arches. The webbing was dry rotted so we replaced it. The rap is fun and has a great view of the river. I wish there was more to it. We boulder hopped and followed the fisherman's trail down river to Cathedral wash where we began the exit hike out. The exit made the route worth it. Highly recommend checking out Cathedral wash! Round trip time was 2.5 hours. We parked at the balance rock pull off which made the approach shorter but the exit longer. We were thinking of doing a longer route nearby but it was very hot so we opted to bust this one out and then drive up to East of State Line and do that immediately after. Definitely not our favorite canyon route, but we had a great time and we enjoyed it. I would do it again.

Comment: didn't find any webbing so we installed an anchor RDC. pull was fine but the rock was sharp and rubbing a bit on the webbing. unremarkable canyon but cathedral is nice.
