Comments: Had heard rumors awhile back that there might be some more good canyon to see above the big falls on Abiqua... and the rumors did not lie. We found a couple of short rappels, some beautiful rock formations, some great jumps, and a dark slot. A great little canyon! Removed an obnoxious bright yellow sling from the top of the big falls. This is a high tourist area, so please do not leave fixed anchors. If you're uncomfortable with ghosting, it's not hard to hike back to the top of the falls to remove the anchor afterwards. (Or just tie your rope to the tree.) Thanks!

Comment: The road down was slick, we parked just above the switchback. It was raining most of the day and the entrance/ exit trails were very slick. There are no established anchors here but there are plenty of options. You can chose to be in the flow or out of the flow except on R3. I didn't see a good option for running the flow also we didn't want to. the R1 and R2 can be walked around and run more than once, we practiced running it in the flow, out of the flow and jumping! Great place to get some practice and build skills. We used a friction loop for all the anchors. The dark slot was awesome, there was a small log underwater just after the giant root ball above your head. This could present and issue at higher flows. We didn't see any other people! thank you rain!

Comment: Returning to Abiqua for a chill relaxing day. Saw no one above the main falls. Confirmed the upper two drops can be jumped. Found a better way in via the upper trail.

Comment: Arrived just long enough before sunset to scope out the bottom of the falls and then find the path to the top anchor point. By the time I was on rope and headed down it was just after dark. Nice easy waterfall that can be knocked out without too much hassle.

Comment: 1 rappel, right off a super short easy trail. Maybe a mile, but it felt shorter. The rappel is a spectacular waterfall into an amphitheater. Truly a wonderful fall, but nothing else. Do not leave webbing or anchors material, please.

Comment: A sweet rappel that ends in a beautiful basalt amphitheater. There appears to be a narrow section above the falls that looks worthy of exploration! The rap is out of the water and is possible to get off rappel near the rocks DCL without getting too wet. The water is shallow where the drop ends - do not jump/let go of the rope at any height. The approach and exit are fairly obvious and have hand lines.
