Comments: Road was dry and easily navigated with high clearance. 4WD not necessary, but would be helpful for one section. The road crosses multiple washes and would likely be impassable after heavy rains. The narrow walls ramp aggressively on both sides creating a runway for loose rock. There was ample evidence of fresh rockfall in the slot - proceed with caution.

Comment: Short but fun. There was knee deep water in two spots 200ft into the narrows which was easily bypassed.
Took ~1h car to car while brisk walking, with car parked at the 2wd parking spot. A Subaru will have no problems at all.

Comment: Nice narrows. Road is in good condition now, 2WD can make it all the way to the start of the narrows
