Comment: Great day out with the CR rondy. We added a new anchor DCL off a juniper, above R4. We got wet to waist deep a couple of times.

Comment: The approach trail is easier to follow than ever before. The canyon itself clearly flashed recently, and the pools, while not completely full, are about waist deep in several places. R1 is now rigged from a tree RDC instead of in the watercourse as it was historically. R4 is now anchored from a log stuck in a crack up canyon, and there were no signs of the deadman of old. We replaced some of webbing on that anchor because it was fraying in places despite being fairly new. I recommend bypassing the R3 pothole LDC and rappelling back down into the watercourse from a small tree anchor instead, allowing for a multi-stage rappel down R4 in case the R4 anchor situation isn't satisfactory. The rest of the canyon's anchors were in good condition and the canyon itself is wet but straightforward.

Comment: Anchors were in decent shape. We didn't feel the need to replace anything. We dug up carain anchors to inspect and then meat anchor backup everyone except lamar. We ghosted the final rappel.

Comment: Did it with 8 raps but saw webbing at 11 drops. First is likely bypassable, 2nd definitely is. The big rap is off of 2 deadman anchors and we measured it at 70'. Changed the beta to reflect this. Webbing all was ok, no pull issues. Some strange choices for anchors imo; not unsafe, just not the easy ones (i.e. far back from edge with long webbing extension when a solid anchor is closer to edge). Fun little canyon with some short, very beautiful sections.

Comment: Very nice, very fun, The climb up is mostly easy and technical aspects of the canyon are straightforward. We did use a courtesy rappel for the big rappel, the one with Deadman and a small pile of rocks as an anchor, and long sliding start, but upon everyone's reaction with start, everyone felt that the courtesy rappel is not really necessary. It is a fun sort of slide to the edge to start and not that difficult. All anchors are in good shape, we replaced a couple and there was no water in the canyon.
