Comments: Rough road for the last mile or two, airing tires down helped make it a lot more comfortable. Unknowingly skipped raps 1 and 2. Removed bad anchor/webbing at R3 that followed the watercourse. Webbing was bad and the pull from that side looks terrible. Used the tree RDC on edge per beta. Replaced anchor on rap 5. Was two strands of rope tied from the same rock chock/pinch and extended far over lip of r5 (about 30ft). Rope was stiff and crusty on the ends. Didn't have enough webbing to extend the new anchor as far, however a fiddlestick worked perfect from a new short anchor off the same rock pinch. Pull cord set DCR over the rock at the edge. Going to update beta to call for a 160' (previously 135') on that last rap unless someone goes back with more webbing to extend it again.
Exit is exactly as miserable as most lesser-run WCC routes. Short, straight up, and very loose. Once you find the game trail towards the top, it becomes much nicer.

Comment: Very pretty, fun, and quick! Lots to see in a small area. Loved the layered rock and chutes! We bypassed the first 2 raps by traversing around the right which avoided the water. However, they did look kinda fun. The next 3 raps were very enjoyable. Again, able to avoid water on rap 3 by smearing across wall down ledge 3/4 way down.
The final rap was really fantastic! Big clean wall! Great view! Exit was very loose soil and very steep but over fairly quick.

Comment: Fresh dead elk with a big rack at r2.
We somehow bypassed r1. R5 webbing showing some minor fading but looks good. All other anchors looks fairly new. Sneak exit was faint but defined. 3 hours 20 min with a 20 min break at the creek.

Comment: Very dry. The knee deep pool at the second rap is the only water that most will encounter. It can be avoided with an exposed traverse canyon right and disconnecting early (6 feet) above the water-line. Took the sneak route with a couple extra miles due to not wanting to push 2wd through a particularly Rocky section after already getting two flats that weekend. Watch for the game trail on the exit that tends slightly left of the gpx route and the climb out will be more straightforward. The elk have left a pretty defined track.

Comment: fun little canyon. we took the sneak exit but went for a swim at the creek. walked around the first two raps because I forgot to bring much webbing and didn't want to waste it :D
replaced webbing on the last 3. 3rd rap was into waist to knee deep pool (depending on ability to move laterally on rope). all other water was totally avoidable.

Comment: No wetsuit needed. One thigh deep pool. Road to canyon sucks.
