Comments: On the exit from Santa Anita (East Fork) we walked up to the top of Sturtevant Falls and dropped in. We combined the first two steps with the rope set on a large log spanning the watercourse. At the end of this rappel we stayed high DCR on the rope and clambered over to a tree which had existing webbing that we augmented with a new strand to anchor R2. The main waterfall dropped exactly 100' from this anchor and was a lot of fun with some free hanging portions and showering in the flow which was staying strong for so late in the season. This canyon is definitely worth a visit and packs a lot of action into a short distance.
