Comments: Dry with the exception of a few muddy sections that were avoided with some stemming / bridging. We downclimbed all but one of the obstacles, where we fixed a handline of about 15’. Exited by returning up canyon. Saw a rattlesnake on approach.

Comment: We brought wetsuits but didn't need them. The air temp in the canyon was warm. The water in the potholes was mostly frozen. We were able to pass all potholes without getting wet. However, the ice is starting to melt. With the rappel bypass on the left of the second pothole we were able to avoid any swimming and with a good kick out you would probably only get ankle-deep in the water even if the ice melted.
