Comments: Enjoyable little outing - fun weekend combo with Clark Creek next door. Didn't bother looking for a route, but thrashed up wherever was easiest then followed the "shortcut route" into the creek, dropping in just above the first rappel. As bushwhacks go in the Olympics, it's pretty easy. Probably a 2 out of 5 (where 1 is open forest and 5 is "I can't see my feet"). Re-rigged goofy anchor DCL on R1. Traverse line was unnecessary at current flow. Could have used a little more water. :-)

Comment: We totally missed the trail up. We started to the left of where we parked our cars, and I think the faint trail is even farther left. Brutal hike up, wearing our wetsuits after doing clark. We hiked up per GIA, but we ended up crawling back down the creek 200 ft lower in elevation before the first Rap. At this flow, we did not need the R4 traverse line to access the bolt.
