Comment: Dry canyon above the hot springs. Easy approach, some of the handlines are old but good enough. Used a 400ft rope for the big rappel and collected info on the chain anchors along the route. Middle anchor had a spinning hanger on the bolt, but otherwise looks solid. Hot springs in great condition. Be aware that there is no way to get below the hot springs without wading through them. About 3ft of water in the pools.

Comment: All anchors and fixed ropes were in good condition. Sand bags were present to make some nice hot soak pools. Several people camping and partying near the river, but the canyon was in nice clean condition - please keep it that way if you head down there. Exit route had a couple of climbing moves with some mild exposure, but nothing too bad.

Comment: Time reflects a descent of Boyscout, packraft to AZ hot springs, and exit up White Rock Canyon. Weather was perfect. Hot springs were hot. The one special challenge was that between the 350' rope, cord, rafts, oars, PFDs, and copious amounts of gummy bears we were left with minimal beer carrying capacity. Prepare accordingly.

Comment: Started down at the river on a canoeing trip. Approach up to the canyon rim had some fun route finding. The main drop was incredibly dramatic and tall into an amphitheater with an audience of other canoeists. We rigged it as a single pitch with a knot. Noticed that there is a rebelay station right around 195' from the anchor. Relaxing in the hot springs on the way out was a unique end to the adventure.

Comment: The short fixed rope to the big drop is getting pretty ragged and should be replaced. With a 220' rope from the first rebelay we came up short but were able to downclimb the rest of the drop. We did this as a river trip so our time doesn't include the hike through the wash, but we were going at a pretty relaxed pace.

Comment: Only rappel is big one. Bolts on both sides of big rap, used ones on DCL and had no pull issues. Did see bolts and chains about halfway down on super small ledge, so looks like could be done as multi stage with smaller rope. Fixed rope lines on about 4 places down to river.
