Comments: The top half of the approach is unpleasant. Otherwise, this would be a 3-star canyon. The canyon is decent: it's in actual rock, the rock is pretty, the rappels are decent, and there are a fair amount of down-climbs. And it's a rare shorter-day canyon in Death Valley. It's just the approach that's unpleasant. The top part had ball bearings on rocks, and "rocks" that crumbled.
