Comments: Light flow with pools under waist depth. Encountered a live baby rattlesnake and deceased ringtail in canyon as well as a large garter snake and gila monster on the exit. We parked along the road on the ridge and hiked down into the canyon via a side drainage. This shortened the shuttle a bit, eliminated some uneventful hiking in a wash, and positioned us just up-canyon of the narrows. Copper Creek Rd was muddy from recent rain and 4x4 was useful for the drive in.

Comment: We did a bike shuttle instead of a car shuttle. I wouldn't recommend biking since there is a steep and extended climb out which added time and effort. The tunnel was easily passable and completely clear of debris. We saw a Gila monster before entering the narrows and within the narrows we saw a dead bobcat and a very large bull snake
