Comments: No other anchors or signs of passage were found, so possible first descent. I was intrigued by NE Cougar after descending the main creek last year; it looked like a neat waterfall from below. Turns out the creek has two technical sections separated by a lengthy creek walk. The lower narrows is the real highlight where the canyon tightens up with numerous back-to-back short rappels. Would have been more fun with more water. Likely should be visited earlier in the year.
