Comments: 211 ML/d on the Kowmung river gauge at 9am. Water level was up from the typical hot dry Australian summer conditions but easily manageable. "Carwash" cave was doable. Helped to have people who were very familiar with this feature. Would not recommend carwash for typical Blue Mountains canyoners at this water level.
Exited via climbing exit which was wet and slimy.

Comment: 216 ML/d on Kowmung River gauge. Water was higher than expected for such a low rating on proxy gauge but that is the challenge/problem with proxy gauges.
Exited via climbing exit.

Comment: Didn't die ;) Would Repeat.
Took climbing exit. Anchor for P3a on the topo (i.e. the 'classic' route that avoids the car wash) is buried in flood debris. Unusable. Forces your party through carwash route... or you know, rig off the washed down logs and try not to dislodge any of the debris.

Comment: Awesome trip. Did it with 2x friends as an overnight trip, camping in the boulder field below the canyon proper. Highly recommend the canyon for those skilled enough, but would not recommend planning as an overnight trip. Very few suitable campsites (if any) in the boulder field - would need to reach the creek. In hindsight we would have packed for a day trip, and completed it in a day with lighter packs and an earlier start. The ascent up towards the Causeway was difficult - thick, spikey vegetation. Highly suggest wearing long pants and long sleeves. Several faint tracks wandering their way generally up the ridge, pick whichever is the path of least resistance!

Comment: Took classic (non-rock climb out) route. Exit up ridge from confluence of Kanangra Creek and Danae Brook is extremely overgrown after the bushfires and multiple years of wet summers. Vegetation is also very prickly. No track up. All bush bashing. Expect exit to be very slow up to the plateau/ridge. Once on ridge the track is well defined and easy.
