Comment: There is another storm coming so things will keep changing this spring. The rain two weeks ago may have washed a lot of the loose rocks down so it was not really an issue on this day. The walls and various loose dirt do have the potential of rock fall. If you use two 200' ropes for the 140+ rap then you can get all the way down the wash away about 50 ft from the base The long rappel to provide a belay instead of the ledge area.

Rap #3 had webbing on a tree with the option of combining the next rappel. Remember to check rope pull for snagging along this route and loose dirt that will come down during the pull.

Comment: Night run. Set up two retreivable anchors to get down the drop in slope. Many boulders that make convenient handholds on R1 were coming loose. Watch for dead yucca below anchor of R2 during rap and rope pull: it is coming loose. We found long green webbing attached to the tree before R3 and used it to rappel instead of downclimb, used R3 as a rebelay. Landslide above us at the top of the downclimb before R3. Rockfall could be a serious issue. Only a trickle of water after the final rap.
