Comments: this area is very pretty but we felt like it was too open to really make for a good technical route. built a cairn anchor to get out of the sandstone slot. rather than continue to the river, we exited on the ridge LUC right after the alabaster technical section and followed this up until the drainage above the sandstone technical section, where we dropped back into the canyon to retrace our route out to the top.
