Comment: Group of 11 with mixed abilities. Did the loop going up Ding and down Dang. Both canyons are holding some water that can be avoided. 4.5 hours car to car.

DING: A few small pools that can be avoided. DANG: While this canyon is non-technical there are a few unnecessary bolts with handlines rigged. Most are rigged with materials of questionable quality and have decent wear in spots--best not to trust these. The down climb mid-canyon that has the sloped overhung shelf has a bolt with good webbing on it--and most beginners will be thankful for this. This spot can be down climbed without the handline, The best location to do this is on the Right Down Canyon. It is a little awkward of a start with good handholds in a crack. There is a decent landing for feet but it doesn't look like that from the top. The hallways at the end of the canyon are holding water--all of which can be stemmed over. The first pool is the deepest and is waist deep in the middle. We had one group member slip in when stemming so that's how we know the depth. The rest of the pools we didn't check the depth of, but are likely shallower.
