Comment: nice canyon. there were 2 pools right before the first rappel we had to swim through, somewhat chilly but I wouldn't call the water cold. maybe 5 feet deep in some spots and deeper in others. first rap looks like it goes into water but it doesn't, head skier's left on dry rock to avoid the pool. second rap looks wet too but isn't. we fiddlesticked the second rap and both cords came down easily. exiting was easy, no swimming or wading required, a small 3 foot wide 1 foot deep pool can be bypassed by jumping the banks instead of taking 2 strides in dirty water. all alone, very pretty

Comment: Good little canyon. We saw some owls on the exit. Anchors were in good shape and the 2nd rappel was a very clean pull. Good bang for the buck for arches. We had one car and used the cut across exit which was easy and straightforward. Sensitive soils were easy to avoid. We hitch hiked from the road a short distance and caught a quick ride up to our car. Warmed up on Elephant butte for a full value day.

Comment: 1st clear day after rain. 3 swimmer potholes 8-12+ feet deep before first rap, easy swim exit to first rappel bolts. Creek walking to 2nd rap slot, varying depths of water in small stemmable potholes.Ankle to chest deep, mildly flowing water through canyon after wet 2nd rap.

Comment: Despite rain potholes still low. Chest deep at the main swimmer. Due to low water entry into pool without jumping required a handline for the first person.
