Comments: The approach took us through the valley of the shadow of death with bones and elk remains. More bones were found in the creek. The exit trail had lots of bear, cougar and elk poop. The creek itself was pretty good even with the low flow. The waterfalls are all scenic. The last rappel is the best.

Comment: Very fun day in the creek. Visibly more flow than in January, but not pushy. Last rap is the best; we climbed back up a faint trail DCR, across a high knoll with a stand of tall trees above the rap, then descend again on faint trail about 40' down to the rappel. Well worth the effort for a second go.
Exit: for the final 1/4 mile we stayed in the creek, staying completely out of sight from the house to the west. Climb out of creek to highway was short and easy.

Comment: A surprisingly nice outing in the Oregon Coast Range. Very aesthetically-pleasing quality waterfalls. Anchor options were a bit thin on several of the drops, but we made do. Water levels were low, but plenty of thermal protection was still required. Ice was present in several areas. Use caution in winter, particularly on the downclimbs.
