Comment: The reason for the 5-stars is for the scenic byway drive and for the 5* restaurant at the drop in. The highlight of the route is the 2nd rappel that is a rope-slide down a smooth fluted wall and being in a 6’ drop off into a pool. The 3rd rappel ends in a wide pool that is enticing to jump but is not deep. The 4th rappel has a crack and chockstone to pass that could be a foot entrapment. The exit is immediately after the 4th rappel on right. A 10 minute hike up a steep path. Th scenic byway starts at a castle town called a Castellar and from there up to a ski resort at the high pass and towards Andorra. Outstanding scenery. Must be done on a somewhat clear day. The goat cheese salad is special. You have to see it to believe it.
