Trip report URL:
Comments: Completed the route to camp at the mouth of Cranberry Canyon in 9 hours on day one, hiked to the rim in 8 hours on day 2. Found the slope of the Cranberry route to be quite steep, but fairly stable if you choose your route and footing wisely. The climb to the top of the redwall felt like about 30 feet, but only two sections that are really vertical for about 6-8 feet each. Holds are good, but some loose rocks along the way. Beautiful redwall narrows in the canyon, though they are somewhat short.
