• "barranco fontalba : bonito y arrampado descenso del afluente del Nuria. Descendido el sabado 17/6 con caudal normal alto. Problemas en recuperacion de cuerdas ya que la fuerza del agua y el roce con algunas piedras dificultaba la recuperacion, acabe un poco desquiciado en ese sentido porque no me paso tan solo una vez, fueron casi todas" barranco fontalba

Comment: A stunningly beautiful day right from the approach hike above tree line all the way back through the forest. There were 3 stand out rappels, the 3rd one is a narrow spout where you get a good blasting, the last one before the bridge, and the first one below the bridge which is coming out of a Nuria. On the rappel before the bridge don’t miss the bolts on an island mid stream which makes for a great 200’ rappel in the flow down a smooth sculpted trough. The alternative is addy rappel from Left. All except two anchors are trees. This is a non committing open creek that can be exited at any point. There is a lot of walking on the side of the creek.
