Comments: 4 hours includes walking 2.5 miles back to frenchman mountain trailhead from the canyon exit; someone seems to be living in the wash further down after you've exited the wash up to the mtb trails so be kind

Comment: important: there were about 100 bees nesting in the final "pothole" about 4 feet before the last rap. these were not there the week prior. they were totally unbothered by us, but we had a person in our group who is severely allergic which meant she had to cover up fully, stem across the mess, and execute perfectly. regress would have been possible out of the canyon but we would have been stumbling through choss in the dark and in the rain. made good enough choices. this was not our first choice canyon, but rain in the surrounding area kicked us out of our plans a & b. this canyon only drains the saddle and two peaks of frenchman and has good egress throughout.

Comment: Always a fun time when done at night! We left webbing at the first rappel in place but it needs to be swapped soon. We replaced most of the crunchy, sun faded webbing in the canyon so it should be good to go for this season. All bolts appeared to be in great shape. Pretty views at night.
