Trip report URL:
Comments: First known descent of Gnat Creek. Super thick bushwhacking in. Some nice falls, but areas of the creek are filled with woody-debris. This creek needs a good hundred-year-flood to scour it out. There is one area where the creek curves around a tight bend that would be really fun if it were not full of old logs. Finding good places to anchor is challenging on the big drops -- you may end out needing to be way off to the side and rappelling a line out of the water. Water levels were surprisingly high for June given this creek does not seem to have much of a watershed.
