Comment: A really fun and great canyon for pothole escapes! We used a combination of meat anchors, pack drags, pot shots, sandtrap, mechanical ascenders, and partner assists to escape the potholes. The majority of the potholes were dry. We packed wetsuits but only one person used a wetsuit (4/3) for one of the potholes (pothole where there is a knot chock). The water was only waist deep, a bit deeper at the exit lip, but it was still possible to use a partner assist to escape out. Make sure to go with folks who are experienced with pothole escape techniques.
