Comments: Descended the canyon with Mauricio from Aldea Matacanes. Flow was on the low side but still flowing. Canyon is on the short side but very pretty. Exited on an old road right after the 4th waterfall. Lots of poison oak on the approach hike that Mauricio took us on.

Comment: Descended this in a large group. Copious poison oak on approach and exit. The stream had a small flow at the start, then went underground a short ways downstream and re-emerged and went away a couple more times. All rappels were dry. R3 and R4 had pools at the bottom. Due to poison oak, downclimbed a few more dry drops at the exit, came across the alternate exit road mentioned in the beta, and out of sheer luck then found the use trail that lead up to the Shuttle waypoint.

Comment: Did Hormigas followed by Naranjo. Hormigas is nice but quite short. I continued down past La Piedra Parad, though you can exit earlier after the fourth pitch. There are some very pretty sections and jumps, so I'd recommend to continue.
