Comment: Anchors in great shape, set up a back up on the log for the main falls since it’s been a while. Removed before I left, Horsetail is for sure now the best single rappel I done in the gorge. It is massive and can be tricky, depending on water flow, very slippery, very pushy in the pour overs! Makes for a very interesting and beautiful rappel. Running down the last 30 or 40 feet, then jumping out into the deep pool below…::Awesome! 15 min approach, 1 min exit, I ran the bottom falls twice it was so good. Pretty early day and still be prepared for people to watch both drops. Don’t let the approach and exit fool you, this is not an easy canyon to run. Can def also confirm this is at least 260ft or more!
