Comments: This was my third visit to this cave, but some in the group have been probably >15 times and for a few, it was their first time. One of our party shot a great drone video of the first rappeller on rope on the high side. We regularly bring two ropes and cycle a group by rappelling the high side and climbing the short side in tandem pairs. I love this cave, and this rigging option makes it the best ROI for a larger group and for the effort expended to/from the cave (MUCH better payoff than Golondrinas, IMO). The high side is by far a better rappel, as it drops free (>100' from all walls) into the center of the cave, not just down the shorter end of the pit. It's definitely worth doing if you have a long enough rope. (We were able to rig the natural anchor and have leftover rope for belay with an 800' rope.) The short side is likely >500' or so, though we typically bring another 700-800' rope.

Comment: I visited alone this time so did not rappel, although in 2015 I rapped to the bottom on a trip with Luca. Still an amazing place to visit even if not rappelling. I was all alone there, watching the parrots squawk and fly around the huge cave. What a sense of awe!
