Comments: Attempted to do this canyon, but Cherry Lake Road is closed for construction due to washouts/landslides. Estimated opening time was November 2023. We were turned around approximately 5 miles from the exit and told that the road to the mine trail and the shuttle road had sections completely missing.

Comment: Temps 85-90F & the water was warm. Probably over dressed with 3mm booties, 3mm pants & 3mm short sleeve jacket. Those with full wetsuits had to unzip a lot while prepping anchors. Adidas Hydro Lace gave good grip on granite but algae/slime was tricky. Moderate High flow made raps/slides a lot of fun. Stronger flow kept us from checking jump depths below waterfalls as well as murky water. A fun C-canyon to run when it is flowing & getting pushed around. Several raps with heavy flow.
