Comments: All webbing is intact and perfect somebody ran this Canyon recently and looks like they replaced everything... nicely done First repel was great second Rappel was good that third repel though the 90 footer... probably more like a hundred. somebody please re-rig that monstrosity of a trap...I mean rap... reset it somehow so that it's in the water course currently it runs through a bush and then through a tree then through a tree mid Rappel which grabs your rope puts it behind you wraps it up in your backpack as you repel down and then you get stuck on repel for a more than slight annoyance we were a group of two and even after telling the second person how to avoid the tree it wasn't avoidable and happened again 3 hours part of car at a very very lazy pace

Comment: Replaced R1 and R3 Webbing. R4 will need replacing soon. Retied improperly tied water not at R2. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ANCHORS BEFORE RAPPELLING! If you are looking to this canyon as a beginner, go first with someone experienced. If you are experienced, do not grow complacent to leave improper knots that others will be later using.

Beautiful canyon, conditions great.

Comment: Easy trail with some elevation gain quickly gets you to the top. View off trail at the top is a quick detour worth the view. Fun rappels with some overhangs. Longest rappel a bit longer unless you end and easy for us down climb so 131' rope and a fiddle worked great. Lots of scrambling. Will bring back the kids to do this canyon. Great canyons with plenty of shade and beautiful views.

Comment: Replaced webbing & quick link on R2. All other webbing looked good! Lots of fun little down climbs. Note that the KML is incorrect. It will say you’ve finished the approach & are at “the descent” but you’re actually just in the wash for another 7-10 minutes and then you will see the first rap. If you pass under a natural arch bridge, you’re going the right way. Keep going! Lots of poison ivy so be cognizant!

Comment: Nice weather - good time of year for this route. Time reflects a relaxed pace. Anchors were all in fine condition. Mind rope placement on the 3rd rap to avoid entanglement in bushes/trees.

Comment: This is a really fun little canyon and next time we'll link it up with Queen Bee for a longer day. When dry, all downclimbs are solid and fun... more like bouldery scrambling as opposed to actual downclimbing. We did all 4 rappels because, well, rappels are fun. R2 and R4 would be easy to bypass, as the route description says. All anchors were in good shape. No water at all, all pools are dry.

Comment: Low flow throughout the canyon. We bypassed R2 on the left side. Used a retrievable anchor on the 90'. Anchors looked good.

Comment: Sweet limestone formations up top! Anchors all good. I did 3 raps and downclimbed the last. Time is without a shuttle. Sadly, no king snakes were seen.

Comment: Fun canyon, we had 12 and 11 year old kids with us, and it was fun and short enough for them to really enjoy it. Easiest approach and exit you could ask for. Stop by the lookout, it’s beautiful. This one would be amazing in later October when the fall leaves change! All anchors looked excellent. We linked with Cookstove Canyon right next door for a fun, chill, pretty easy Saturday outing. Both canyons combined took our group of 6 7 hours with a lunch at the car in the middle.

Comment: Went really well. Two experts, two beginners, and a newbie.

Full upper half, every rock was covered in ice. Added a difficult element, but also made it a little bit more fun. All anchors in place and were used.

Overall, decent canyon trip.

Comment: This canyon is small but unique and definitely worthwhile!

The small natural bridge at the beginning followed by a series of overhanging roofs, fun down climbs, and prestine conditions make this a must try.

One 30' section was downclimbed direct (moderate), and down canyon right (easy).

scenic approach and quick exit that lands you close to the creek.
