Comment: Fun quick romp through LSA. Water is starting to taper a bit with the only forceful rappel being the "Spout" on R3. Everything else was gentle but the algae is starting to show, making some areas slippery. The pothole is still full and we jumped it, barely grazing the bottom. Great day all in all.

Comment: Lots of frogs. Pothole lower than a few weeks ago but water is still flowing. 4/3 is almost overkill. Some webbing should be replaced soon.

Comment: The MOST millipedes I've ever seen! Also saw, a California Rough Newt and some caterpillars and the frogs were chirpin'

Comment: Great weather and great flow a lot of fun! Had to do a couple redirects to keep my son out of the heavy flow. Algae is forming and getting very slippery. Played around in the pot hole. Flow was down about 20% from early March.

Comment: Flow is great. We did a guided belay for that one rap where the whole creek hits you. We belayed folks out to the pothole anchor, just to be safe.

Comment: Flow was even higher on this run! All anchors are in good condition. Several of the rappels that are in flowing water present a very real (and very fun) challenge. The pothole was quite difficult to escape. Excellent day in LSA!

Comment: Still very high flow during this run. All anchors were in good condition. The pothole is definitely a challenging to escape. More water than I've ever seen in LSA. Absolutely awesome right day.

Comment: High flowing conditions with chilly snowmelt water. Encountered hydrologic keeper conditions in the pothole. Biggest water seen in there yet

Comment: We were well ahead of Freddy's group and behind the first (and fast) group. The waterflow was seriously powerful (see pics), but less than one other time I ran it in extreme mode. R3 slammed us into the pool once the stem ran out. The big pothole has a strong toilet bowl recirculation hydraulic; some needed assistance exiting. Water temp was 52F, so full wetsuit and neoprene socks and gloves were needed for warmth. All the anchors are holding up fine. Most of our group jumped the big pothole, but that was after a depth check.

Comment: We ran the canyon in our gortex rain jacket and pants. In hindsight, we should have brought thin wetsuits. Water was flowing great. Was surprised to see that we had to swim in one of the pools to get across. (pothole) Thats when the wetsuit would have been nice to have. We made it out just before the wind and rain moved in. Frozen feet but lots of laughs today.

Comment: Great weather in LSA today! The canyon was still flowing, but not too challenging, and fun. More like class B if you're 6'4", apparently. 4/3 was good. Only the pothole was over my head or had a decent current. Special challenges since we took an extra two hours wandering up and down scree to see if the 'express exit' still exists, would not recommend.

Comment: Great day in LSA. The washed out section of the trail already has a beautiful new wooden bridge. Had a crew of mostly beginners, and it was perfect for them—really fun but not overly stressful or challenging. The pothole is roughly chest deep and was definitely jumpable after a depth check.
