Comment: We had a very close encounter with a cougar while going down to the stream between the gravel road and the canyon start.
We went into the canyon after a lot of rain. Water level was higher than before the rain making the descent a bit more challenging than expected As it was our first time in this canyon, and it started raining a lot again during the descent, we came out before the narrowest part, as we didn't went into it in low flow before . Would love to come again, with sun and a bit less water to have more fun and less concerns :)
