Comments: Headed out with Arty to take him on his first abseiling trip. Headed up past Cedar Creek Falls meeting a few others exploring the creek as early as us, and what looked like birders who were already heading back out. We continued upstream heading right up Love Creek. Soon arrived at the bottom of Love Creek Falls where we left some of our gear. It was an enjoyable scramble up the gully to the right (creek left). We scrambled up the rock, which might be a bit exposed for some but for us it was less sketchy than the the steep eroded track. All the pitches were bolted xx. Albeit not very well. They could have been placed much better. The final pitch was the longest and a 60m rope seemed a bit short. At least the rope we had was 1m short on either end. Was much busier on the way back. We stayed at the main swimming hole for a bit and jumped from the rocks a couple of times. We soon left the blasting music behind and got to the car just after the rain settled in. Stopped in Sanford for some food. The pizza we got from Sanford Gourmet Pizza was really good. Great vegetarian options! All in all an enjoyable day out :) Thanks Arty!
