Comments: The creek was running for the bottom 1 km. There was also nice flowing water a few hours upstream, just below the first chockstone bypass upclimb, but we didn't notice the water around the same time a year ago so it might not be reliable.

Comment: Six hours to go from Upset Rapid, up the three bottom ascents of 150-Mile, past the Ledge, hike up along the river, cross the river in packrafts, continue hiking the very hilly but well-defined trail on the south bank, eat lunch at the head of the slot, do the slot, scout the packraft launch in the rapid, and float back to Upset Rapid.

Amazing slot! Not technical, very short, but stunningly beautiful. Slot water was much warmer than the river water. Worth the effort.

    Comment: Phenomenal non-technical canyon on approach to panameta. interesting route from river camp to mouth of canyon. Look for cairns
