Comments: We discovered the first anchor attached to a dead bush that was uprooted, completely unusable (photo attached). There were no other suitable "bomb proof" places to anchor at the top of the first rappel so we had to turn back. Unless someone else created a new anchor for the first rappel, this rout cannot be done. Note: To anyone that would head out here to setup an anchor, most of the rock around the top is fractured and weathered such that bolt placement would not very easy. Top soil seemed shallow such that it is unclear if some sort of dirt anchor would work. Setting a new anchor might be tricky.

Comment: Found plenty of bushes suitable for anchoring at the top of R1 which drops down a vertical wall and was a lot of fun, especially since I brought two shorter ropes tied together and got in bonus knot passing practice. At R2 I rigged a fiddlestick off of a bush closer to the drop than the existing anchor. Used existing anchor for R3. The reservoir was partially flooded but by hugging the wall I was able to stay dry above the waist until getting onto the mud flats.
