Comments: USGS put the flow at 96 cfs which i would say is the highest this canyon can be run. Any higher and you wouldn't be able to get out of the pool above the final repel before being swept over. Pretty sketh at 96. Not much to add from the other reports. The 3rd repel is off of a dead man's anchor on the right which drops you onto a ledge above the big hydraulic. From there you can pull the rope and jump past the recirculating white water. It would be nice to have a bolt on the left which is the better side. The nut holding the bolt hanger for the final repel had to be tightened as it was almost completely unthreaded. Very beautiful canyon with really good access.

Comment: Beta is mostly accurate.
Saw no anchor for R1. Gave meat for my partner and jumped the center in the boil. Make sure to check depth and clear rock right of center. Appears a dead tree was used for R3. This has fallen and is no longer usable. We put in an anchor on a rock pinch left of center that will not be permanent. Would be advisable to just put in a bolt back around the left corner out of sight. This puts the rap on the easier/less white water left side- can jump the last 5-8' if you want to completely clear the whitewater. Bolt anchors in good condition for last raps. DC before R3 is very doable but delicate hugging the left corner. Exposure is minimal but consequences could still be high. Don't mess it up.

Comment: It was clearly Fall when we decided to run this canyon as the temperatures were colder and leaves were turning/falling. While the last waterfall is the main attraction, the gorge above Toketee is very beautiful. This river is dam controlled and the gauges were running at 87 CFS. All hydraulic at the bottom can be avoided but the force of the water going from obstacle to obstacle is surprisingly strong and fast! All rappels are outside of the flow and canyoneers should be comfortable swimming in high current. If you plan to enter after the rainy season, be prepared to bring a bolt gun.
