Comments: Observation Point Canyon is open again.
Replaced webbing on most drops (except 2nd to last which weirdly looked brand new).
The 2nd rappel (below the long down climb) has options... People have anchored off of several ugly bushes with uglier pulls. We went further down and left and used a moderate tree, but the sandy exposed down climb sucked and had lots of loose rocks to knock off the drop. There were some large rocks that looked possible to anchor off of in the middle of the (left) watercourse that may have been the best option?

Comment: This was an exploratory trip to find a way down directly from Observation Point. We brought 2 450ft ropes and fiddled off a tree at Observation Point. We had to build a few anchors with bolts and sandstone arches to get all the way down the massive headwall to the canyon floor. Super fun!! The rest of the canyon was okay. One water hole that I was able to climb around with some finesse. Final rappel sequence was pretty nice.
