Comments: Outlaw needs more technical obstacles to make the pay to play worth it. The canyon action is rather minimal and the unremarkable canyon walking is lengthy. Inlaw or Tiger Wall would be better canyons if spending the effort to cross the Yampa. Conditions were fine, but a quality of 1 star seemed appropriate.

Comment: Ran the canyon in September 2024, weather conditions were perfect, the canyon was spectacular but not really technical. We did it instead of Scroggins due to time. The one Rap is gorgeous and the part of the canyon before is like a jungle canyon. Very green and untouched! Would love to go back when I try the other in the area. It’s just such a challenge to get to, but it may be worth it since it’s so remote.
